Landscape Package (LP7)

Application:Assessment of Subsoil For General Landscaping Purposes

Landscape Package 7 (LP 7) is suitable as a basis for assessing the quality of subsoil intended for general landscaping purposes. It includes those parameters necessary to determine whether the soil will have the physical and chemical properties necessary to support healthy plant growth in most planting situations. The package may be used to assess compliance with the requirements of a landscape architect's soil specification.

Where contamination is suspected additional optional analyses can be carried out. This may be required for subsoils intended for domestic gardens for example. This package can be combined with ICRCL 59/83 metals or the ICRCL 59/83 full suite of contaminants. (For full suite details refer to LP 11).

Landscape Package 7 Analyses

  • Visual Description
  • pH Value
  • Electrical Conductivity (1:2.5 in water)
  • Particle Size Analysis (texture)
  • Stone Content
  • The cost of LP 7 depends on the number of samples submitted at the same time and how quickly the results are required. See explanatory notes for details of the different services available.

Work is undertaken subject to our standard conditions of contract (copies available on request).
